Hi everyone and all the dogs !

I hope this finds you having a good start to the New Year. Life is good !

I wanted to start the year off with an update about what's going on here with Family Disaster Dogs.

With the winter months here, I've been updating the familydisasterdogs.net site and putting together monthly Newsletters with dog training articles, news and tips. If you have anything you would like to be included or have a dog question you'd like answered, feel free to let me know at the contact info below.

New to the site are photos of my some of my many Bloodhounds I raised who aided in the search for lost and missing persons all across the USA, Canada and South America. I will be making pages with stories of each dog eventually as time permits so check back often to read some Bloodhound tales. See the dogs on the About page and read about their jobs.

Here are my first three Bloodhounds, left is Rea Valley's Incredible Sue (featured in Bloodhound Champions book ) and I, then my daughter Anastasia with Blue Boy Homer ( he found 28 people) and Anastasia's dad with Prancing Red Yeti on Bulls Shoals Lake Ark 1998.

There is also a new Event page where private lessons can be booked with me or a book signing or dog training workshop.

I'm thinking about holding a dog meet-up at the park this summer, where we can visit and talk dogs, work the dogs on different lessons so let me know if you think it is a good idea ? contact

New dog training lessons will be available and coming out monthly on the Family Disaster Dog Blog beginning 1 Feb 2017. You will get them if you are getting this newsletter. Otherwise, if you are reading this at the site, sign up for the newsletter to get the monthly lessons.

My Puppy Can Find Me Book Release News

My publisher is actually located in Oklahoma USA and transitioning to a web portal which they hope will make production quicker as we await the children's book release.

I'm really excited to see Bloodhound Daisy and my daughter as cartoons in My Puppy Can Find Me children's book. I've approved the illustrations and they look so cute ! I can hardly wait.

Good news to share !

Walmart will soon be carrying the Family Disaster Dog books ! They have the book on the Walmart online site and they are still stocking the shelves as of this date. Exciting !
